AIR-RAID ARCHIE may be a bit officious but he certainly keeps the children in line. Archie prepares the children with such actions as: a fire bucket drill, operating a baby respirator, dancing the jitterbug and singing in the shelter. For younger children, Archie tells the tale of 'Jimmy Smith - Playing Away'. There is a play/workshop which goes with this presentation. The presentation has been conducted at the Boat Museum in Ellesmere Port, at Chirk Castle and is a regular event for two schools in Buckinghamshire. It has also been developed through ArtzIdeas for presentation at the Citadel Theatre and in St Helens Schools.
